Quick Start Guide
Get up and running in 5 simple steps
1
Download & Install
Download the latest version from the download page and follow the installation instructions for your operating system.
2
Prepare Your Files
Ensure you have:
- Texture atlas image file (PNG, WebP, AVIF, BMP, DDS, KTX2, JPEG, TGA, TIFF)
- Metadata file (XML, JSON, TXT, Plist, Atlas, CSS, or engine-specific format)
If you don't have a metadata file, the app can still extract sprites using color keying or grid-based slicing.
3
Load Files
Open the application and load your texture atlas using the Select input directory button, or drag-and-drop files directly onto the atlas list.
4
Configure Settings
Adjust your export settings:
- Animation format (GIF, WebP, or APNG)
- Frame rate (FPS)
- Frame format (PNG, WebP, AVIF, BMP, DDS, TGA, TIFF)
- Cropping and scaling options
5
Extract Animations
Click Start Process to generate your animations and frames. The output will be saved to your chosen directory, organized by texture atlas name.
Want to create atlases instead? Switch to the Generate tab to build new texture atlases from individual frame images. See the User Manual for details.
